An Ink Adventure

Finally went for the ink at Cicada Tattoo. 

Anyone who has known me for more than two minutes knows that I have been on the tattoo grind for years. I must say- now that I have them, they're exactly what I was hoping for. As for the why's I keep getting asked: The cross on the back of my shoulder is a shoutout to Jesus because he's the coolest guy around. 

And the twig/branch/mysterious object on my arm has no significance besides beauty. WHAT!? Yup, permanent beauty I get to share with anyone who happens to look at my arm. Pretty cool concept if you ask me.
